Fofana happy in Pink City

Mohamed Fofana has told skysports.com that he expects to remain at Toulouse this summer. The Malian international defender has reportedly attracted the attention of North East duo Newcastle and Sunderland. Valencia and Real Betis are said to be keen and summer bids have been anticipated. However, although acknowledging the interest, Fofana accepts that he will be staying put if that is what Toulouse want. "I am aware of the interest," he told skysports.com. "I'm having a good season, however I need to improve. "In Toulouse we have a good group, we have a good team spirit. I have come from the adacemy here and if we can get a European place - that would be good.

"The coach here has trusted me and given me my chance and I want to stay here. "Do I move? I like Toulouse and they want me here so I think I will stay here. Maybe I will go another day." Fofana admits he is a fan of English football. "I like the Premier League," he added. "It is normal a player will one day want to play in the Premier League."
