Imps issue retained list for 2009/10 campaign

Lincoln City have confirmed that they will be releasing seven members of their first-team squad this summer. With those in question set to see their current contracts expire, it has been decided no extensions will be offered. Therefore, goalkeeper Ayden Duffy, defender Frank Sinclair, midfielders Martin Pembleton and Owain Warlow, and forwards Ben Wright, Gary King and Geoff Horsfield are all now on the lookout for a new club. The major cull leaves Imps boss Peter Jackson with just 11 senior professionals for next term. However, Sam Mullarkey, Dany N'Guessan and Adrian Patulea have been offered new deals to remain at Sincil Bank. Talks are also ongoing with Lee Beevers in regards to an offer made to him earlier this year which is yet to be finalised.
