Imps set to miss out on pair

Potter and Hatch set to leave Peterborough

Peterborough director of football Barry Fry believes it is unlikely that Lincoln will sign either Alfie Potter or Liam Hatch. Both players are set to leave London Road this summer and Fry has confirmed Lincoln's interest. However, Potter is set to join a Blue Square Premier side while Lincoln are expected to be priced out of a move for Hatch. "Lincoln certainly enquired about Alfie and Liam and I told them both players were available if they wanted them," Fry told the Lincolnshire Echo. "But after a successful loan spell at Kettering last season, another Blue Square club have come in with a £25,000 offer for Alfie, which I have accepted. I fully expect him and his agent to begin talks over that move next week. "As you would expect for Liam there has been plenty of interest from League Two and one club has offered a substantial amount of money. "But in all honesty I really don't believe Lincoln can match that price."
