Winger claims Liberty Stadium move is close
Former Hearts winger Saulius Mikoliunas claims he is on the brink of joining Swansea.
The Lithuanian has been looking for a new club since leaving Tynecastle at the end of April.
He has been linked with Swansea for some time and has now suggested that a transfer should be finalised in the very near future.
The 25-year-old has also revealed that he turned down interest from a number of Austrian clubs in favour of a switch to the Liberty Stadium.
"The signatures are not signed yet, but Swansea are the most probable outcome," he told the
Futbolas.lt website.
"I can't say exactly when but I should be signing a contract any time soon.
"I chose Swansea because the league standard is better. I plan my career to continue in England so this was obviously a better choice than Austria."
