Howe feels striker can play higher than League Two level

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe plans to take a look at former Swindon Town striker Barry Corr in pre-season. Corr is available on a free transfer after being released by Swindon following two injury-hit years at the County Ground. Howe is keen to assess the 24-year-old's fitness in pre-season and believes he is capable of playing at a higher level than League Two. "He's had shoulder problems and I think he's had that sorted out now, so we're due to have a look at him in pre-season and assess how fit he is," Howe told the Daily Echo. "He's a mobile target man which is very, very rare. When he's fit and playing he'll be better than this level." The Cherries manager is also waiting for Warren Cummings, Ryan Garry, Jeff Goulding, Joe Partington, Josh McQuoid and Ryan Pryce to decide on the offer of new deals at the club. He added: "I want to keep them all and I'm hopeful that we can. "A lot will depend on whether they have offers from elsewhere and how they view the current situation at the football club. "I'm sure they'll make calculated decisions on what's best for them."
