Keeper expected to be reunited with Hughes at Hibernian
Falkirk goalkeeper Dani Mallo says he has decided where he will play next season after being linked with a move to Hibernian.
Mallo joined Falkirk on a contract until the end of the season from Braga in January and he impressed for the Scottish Cup finalists.
He has been tipped to follow former Falkirk boss John Hughes to Easter Road after the new Hibs chief admitted he would be keen to re-sign the 30-year-old.
A Championship club and a Spanish side have also shown an interest, with Mallo planning to announce his decision on Wednesday.
"I have decided on my future for next season, but I would prefer to wait until 1st July to make the announcement," said Mallo.
"My good season with Falkirk has relaunched my sporting career and that is very positive for me.
"I am happy I left Sporting Braga to play in Scotland and now I could profit from this chance to improve in all areas.
"The option of Spain is always there, but I do not have a fixed date for my return."
Regarding a possible move to Hibs, Mallo said: "This is a big club and the coach knows my work, but I do not want to say more."
