Australian shot-stopper makes Carrow Road switch
Norwich City have made their fourth signing of the summer in the shape of Australian keeper Michael Theoklitos.
The 28-year-old shot-stopper has penned a two-year deal at Carrow Road after his contract with Melbourne Victory expired.
Theoklitos does have a small amount of experience of English football having played for Blackpool in 2003.
Norwich have been on the look-out for goalkeeping reinforcements following David Marshall's move to Cardiff City.
Passion
Canaries boss Bryan Gunn is thrilled to have snapped up Theoklitos, stating he was the club's top target.
"Michael has always been the number one target this summer, so obviously I'm delighted he's put pen to paper," he told the club's
official website.
"Although other clubs were interested in trying to sign Michael he wanted to come and play for us and that is the kind of passion and commitment to Norwich City which I'm looking for in my players.
"Michael came for a few days with us in March and everyone was very impressed with both his goalkeeping and also his personality. He will be a massive presence both on the pitch and in the dressing room."
