Clarets striker pitches up for trial at Arminia

Burnley striker Besart Berisha could be heading to Arminia Bielefeld after joining the club on trial. Berisha, whose time at Burnley has been interrupted by several loan spells away from the club, has a year left on his contract at Turf Moor. The player has a background in the German game after a spell at Hamburg earlier in his career. Berisha has now joined Bielefeld for a trial, as have Dortmund's Giovanni Federico and Toulouse misfit Pavel Fort. Bielefeld's new manager Thomas Gerstner told Neue Westfalische Zeitung: "We are having a look at several players these next few days. "All are joining us for a trial period and one of these lads is Besart Berisha." Berisha scored one goal in 12 Bundesliga matches for Hamburg before heading to Burnley in 2007.
