Real Zaragoza are set to complete the signing of Getafe striker Ikechukwu Uche for a fee of €5million (£4.3m).
The 25-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez as the newly-promoted Primera Liga side look to make a mark in the new campaign.
Uche - who has made 21 appearances for Nigeria, scoring six goals - is now looking for to the challenge of breaking into Zaragoza's first team.
The move is still subject to a medical, but he said: "I am delighted to join a great club and to progress my career. I am 25 years old and this is a great move for me.
"I will have to improve and try to get a starting place."
Zaragoza have already signed former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant on a free transfer this summer.
