Hornets yet to decide on French winger
Watford boss Malky Mackay is set to pursue his interest in trialist Claudio Beauvue.
The Frenchman has spent the last five days with the Hornets and has impressed the club's coaching staff.
He caught the eye in a recent friendly success over Wealdstone and Malkay admits he will be talking to Ligue 2 side FC Troyes about the prospect of bringing Beauvue back to England for another spell.
"At the moment he is going back to France but we'll see," he said.
"We'll talk to both his agent and his club, in terms of ideally you want longer to look at him.
"We only got him for five days which is not a long time to have a look at somebody so it's like everything with trialists, you have got to be careful in terms of how long you have got them for and how you treat them in terms of how their own club is concerned.
"So we'll have ongoing talks in the next few days to see what we do there."
