Midfielder secures contract after impressing on trial
Walsall have signed Peter Till on a one-year contract after the midfielder impressed on trial.
Till was available on a free transfer after being released by Grimsby Town, having finished last season on loan at Chesterfield.
The 23-year-old has been training with Walsall during pre-season and has shown enough to secure a contract with the League One club.
Saddlers boss Chris Hutchings is confident that the former Birmingham City youngster can excite the home crowd this season.
"He's an attacking wide-man with pace who is not afraid to take people on," Hutchings told the club's
official website.
"It's a great opportunity for him to come here and progress; he's a local lad and we are delighted to have him on board.
"He has done well over the past few weeks with us and hopefully that will continue. He is certainly a player who has the potential to excite people and I look forward to working with him."
