Full-back set to stay with Luton
Lewis Emanuel has turned down a move to Grimsby Town and is set to sign a new contract at Luton Town.
The full-back had been expected to leave Kenilworth Road over the summer following Luton's relegation from the Football League last season.
Hatters boss Mick Harford claims the 25-year-old was offered a route back into League Two by ex-Luton manager Mike Newell.
Emanuel was brought to Luton from Bradford City in 2006 by Newell, but a reunion at Blundell Park does not appear to be on the cards.
Harford said: "He was offered a very good contract by Grimsby.
"I spoke to Lewis before the Man United game and we will sit down over the next 48 hours and hopefully thrash a deal out."
