Hartlepool have signed full-back Steve Haslam following a successful trial.
As revealed by skysports.com earlier this month Haslam was handed a trial by Hartlepool after being released by Bury at the end of last season.
The 29-year-old impressed during Pools' pre-season clash at Mansfield last weekend and director of sport Chris Turner has moved quickly to complete his eighth signing of a busy summer.
Haslam worked with Turner during his spell in charge at Sheffield Wednesday.
