Veteran French midfielder Olivier Dacourt has joined Standard Liege until the end of the season. The Belgian champions have moved for the midfielder as cover for star player Steven Defour, who will be out for three months at least. Dacourt, who turns 35 on Friday, was released by Italian champions Inter Milan earlier this month. His previous clubs also include Lens, Leeds United, AS Roma and Fulham.
