Brann midfielder flattered by reported Cologne interest

Jan Gunnar Solli admits that the time is right for him to move abroad after reported interest from Bundesliga side FC Cologne. The Brann midfielder believes his game would be suited to the German top flight and admits he is aware of the interest in him. The 28-year-old has spent his entire career in his native Norway with spells at Odd Grenland, Rosenborg and Brann, where he currently resides. The Norway international insists he would find it extremely hard to leave Brann but if the right offer came from one of the major leagues in Europe he would find it hard to say no. "I have always thought the Bundesliga would suit me fine," he told Bergens Tidende. "In case I should experience to play abroad, the possibility is now. I know that someone would be here to watch me. "I don't want to leave Brann at any cost, but I have always been keen to play in one of the big leagues."
