Bari midfielder not thinking of leaving in January
Bari midfielder Antonio Langella has insisted he has no plans to leave the club in January.
The veteran Italian only moved to Stadio San Nicola earlier this year but he has endured a difficult start to the season.
He has not been able to hold down a place in the starting XI and speculation has suggested he could quit Bari when the transfer window reopens.
However, Langella maintains that he is happy at Bari and will continue to respect every decision made by coach Giampiero Ventura.
The 32-year-old is nevertheless hoping to get more opportunities when the Serie A season resumes after the international break.
"I'm sorry that I'm not playing, a player always wants to go on the pitch, but it's the coach who decides," Langella told
itasportpress.it.
"You must train well and be always ready. Such a situation is not easy, but I have no intention of surrendering, and I have no intention of leaving in January.
"I chose this shirt because I believed in the project right from the start. With the coach I don't have any problems.
"When I will be called into action, I will have my say on the pitch."
