Fulham, Monaco and Ajax linked with Swedish midfielder
Gothenburg midfielder Gustav Svensson has revealed he is being tracked by clubs in several countries including England.
Fulham are understood to be monitoring the 22-year-old, who is also capable of playing in defence and has already made his international debut for Sweden.
Ajax have been heavily linked with a move for Svensson as well, while Monaco are the latest side to reportedly enter the chase.
"I know that they are a little interested," Svensson told
Eurosport.se, referring to Monaco. "It's a beautiful town by the French Riviera.
"There are clubs in different countries that have shown interest. Clubs in Italy, Spain, England, France and Holland."
Svensson accepts that he is a long way from securing a move away from Gothenburg but is happy to have attracted so much attention.
"There are eight or nine clubs that are interested," he explained.
"I know there is a big step from being interested and placing a bid. But it could have been worse.
"But like I've said earlier it's important that it is the right club that places a bid, a good club that I like.
"I like it at Blavitt (Gothenburg) and can stay another year without any problems."
