Black Stars prospect moves to Serie A

Udinese have signed Ghana's midfield hot prospect Agyemang Badu on a four-year contract. The 18-year-old midfield anchorman follows in the line of a number of Ghanaian stars to have joined the Serie A club in the past, with the likes of Sulley Muntari, Mohamed Cargo and Stephen Appiah all having played for the Bianconeri. Agyemang Badu will move to Udinese when the transfer window opens in January, although he will likely miss a number of games on international duty for Ghana when the African Cup of Nations begins. He told skysports.com: "I am delighted to sign for Udinese. "Ghanaian players loved this club before me and it is a privilege to be the next Ghanaian to make his name here. "There are already some Ghanaians here such as Kwadwo (Asamoah)." Agyemang Badu could wait a while for his Udinese debut, as the African Cup of Nations kicks off on 10th January.
