Danish outfit have no plans to bid for Derby's teenage striker

Danish league leaders OB Odense have dismissed reports that they are set to move for Aleksander Prijovic. The Derby County starlet has joined the club on trial, and impressed during a recent practice match. That led to speculation that the Serbian youngster could be on his way to Scandinavia on a permanent basis. Rams boss Nigel Clough helped to fuel those rumours by claiming that he was under the impression Odense were interested in striking a deal during the January transfer window. However, OB coach Lars Olsen has denied that is the case, with Prijovic having been returned to Derby with no further action planned. "We have sent him back to England. It was nothing to do with anything in the recent game," he told bold.dk. "He has been with us for a while now, and we could see him again in the future, but we have come to the conclusion that he cannot strengthen our squad right now."
