Amine Lingazi admits he would be tempted by a move to England, but insists that he has not agreed to join Blackburn.
The 20-year-old Algerian is understood to have spent time training with Rovers earlier this month.
Now reports suggest that Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is keen to seal a deal for the midfielder.
"I am flattered by my name being associated with the Premier League, which for me is the best league in the world," he told
skysports.com.
"But I am learning the game at the moment, I need to be working hard to be in the St Etienne team week in, week out, it is important to be well prepared before going abroad.
"Since the age of 14 I am in France, an environment I know.
"Blackburn? They are a good club, nothing is official so I can not comment on it, I am fine for the moment in St Etienne."
