Defender heading for Everton talks

Everton are lining up a move for Norwegian defender Knut Olav Rindaroy with the Molde ace travelling to England for talks. Everton have held a long-term interest in the full-back and they are now preparing a move to take him to Goodison Park. The 24-year-old has previously indicated his interest in a move to Everton and Molde director Tarje Nordstrand Jacobsen has confirmed Rindaroy has been given permission to hold talks with Everton. "I can confirm that Knut Olav according to plans will visit Everton from Tuesday to Thursday," Nordstrand Jacobsen told Romsdals Budstikke. "We have got signals that they want to fly him over so that he gets to see the club and meet with them. But that doesn't mean than anything is clear yet." Nordstrand Jacobsen has admitted Molde are prepared to sell Rindaroy for the right price with the Norwegian club having already brought in Emil Johansson as Rindaroy's replacement. "We have signalled were the financial frames should be for a possible sale," added Nordstrand Jacobsen. "Of course we are looking at getting the best possible price for Knut Olav but at the same time are realistic to what the market looks like and that the contract expires after this season."
