Forward signed to help fight relegation
Grimsby have announced the signing of Swindon forward Lee Peacock on a one-and-a-half-year deal.
The 33-year-old had been linked with a return to Carlisle where he started his career but he is instead heading for Blundell Park.
Peacock was not a first-team regular at Swindon as he was still recovering 100 per cent fitness after undergoing a back operation in 2009.
Grimsby boss Neil Woods bolstered his squad on Thursday by re-signing midfielder Dean Sinclair on loan.
The Mariners are battling relegation from League Two and travel to play-off hopefuls Aldershot on Saturday.
