Rindaroy staying put

Knut Olav Rindaroy has turned down a move to England and agreed to stay at Molde. The highly-rated full-back spent time training with both Everton and Manchester United earlier this month. The 24-year-old now claims that he has turned down a number of offers, including Everton - who he says could not afford him. The international left-back is now waiting until the end of his new deal, which runs to 2011. I got really good positive feedback but there will be no transfer this window. Everton didn't have the money to buy me, and I really need to be awarded time on the pitch," Rindaroy told VG. "There has been a large interest from other clubs I don't wish to name, but I have decided to turn them down. "It is Molde that have made me where I am today and they are entitled to get something back. "That's why I signed a new one year contract in order to secure money for them if I am to be bought this summer."
