Midfielder quickly finds new club after leaving Brighton

Barnet have snapped up David Livermore on a free transfer after the midfielder saw his contract cancelled by Brighton & Hove Albion. Livermore agreed to a termination of his deal at Brighton before the close of the transfer window, enabling him to sign for Barnet. The 29-year-old is now likely to go into the Bees' squad for Saturday's game against Aldershot and Ian Hendon is happy with his latest recruit. "He is an experienced utility player who can give us cover in many positions in midfield or defence," Hendon told the club's official website. Livermore joined Brighton in 2008 from Hull City, but he had made just one substitute's appearance in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy this season. He had a spell on loan at Luton Town last term and featured for the Hatters in a 1-1 draw against Barnet at Underhill in April.
