Striker signs on short-term deal
Aldershot have captured striker Omer Riza on a deal until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old has recently been on trial with the Shots after leaving fellow League Two side Shrewsbury late last year.
Manager Kevin Dillon has been impressed by his performances in training and believes he will add something to the squad.
"With John Grant joining Oxford earlier this week it was important that we signed Omer to provide good competition up front," said Dillon.
"He has been at the club on a trial basis for the last three-and-a-half weeks and I have liked what I have seen.
"He is a goalscorer and hungry to succeed and this is his opportunity to stake a claim for something more permanent come the end of the season.
"Omer will be included in the squad for Saturday's visit to Chesterfield."
