Lincoln have signed winger James Reid on a non-contract basis.
The 20-year-old, a former trainee with Nottingham Forest, will go straight into the Imps squad to face Hereford at Sincil Bank on Friday night.
Reid has been training with Chris Sutton's side and played in the last two reserve-team matches, scoring on both occasions.
The former England youth international had a spell at non-league Rushden & Diamonds earlier this season.
