Hearts striker Jamie Mole has moved to First Division side Raith Rovers on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has had an injury-plagued season so far and has struggled to hold down a place in the Hearts squad.
Mole will link up with former Jambos coach John McGlynn at Raith, who have made the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup this term.
Hearts manager Jim Jefferies thinks it is a good opportunity for the youngster to play more first-team football.
"Jamie's gone out on loan to Raith," he told
Hearts News.
"He has a chance to get some games under his belt and I'm sure the move will benefit him."
Mole had previously decided to turn down a move to Morton on Friday with club-mate David Witteveen.
"I think the Raith move suited him better," Jefferies added.
"He knows a few of the folk there and has obviously worked with John McGlynn before."
