Baggies boss looking for Kiely replacement

West Brom boss Roberto Di Matteo is in the market for a new keeper next season with Dean Kiely joining the club's coaching staff. Kiely has served as back-up to first-choice Scott Carson this term, although the experienced keeper is taking up a new role from the summer. Di Matteo has confirmed Kiely will become the club's third-choice shot-stopper just in case and that he will be looking for competition for Carson. However, the Italian is in no rush to fill the vacancy now as he wants to wait until promotion is confirmed before deciding who to bring in.

Vacancy

"Dean will be joining the coaching staff next season and will be our goalkeeper coach officially," Di Matteo the club's official website. "He'll retain his player registration as a third goalkeeper. "We'll be looking to fill the empty goalkeeper position for next season. "But we'll have to see where we are first."
