Bradford midfielder Luke Sharry has been given the opportunity to impress with a trial at Grimsby.
The 20-year-old has only made two substitute appearances during his time with the Bantams.
Sharry, who had a loan spell with Barrow last season, featured in a 3-0 loss to Leeds reserves at Elland Road on Tuesday afternoon and is expected to get another run-out for Grimsby's second string in their game against Newcastle on Thursday.
He will also be looking to catch the eye in training and could possibly be offered a deal by Mariners manager Neil Woods.
