Goalkeeper keen to make his mark next season
Macclesfield Town duo Jose Veiga and Shaun Brisley have signed new one-year contracts to stay at Moss Rose.
Cape Verde international goalkeeper Veiga joined the Silkmen last summer and made six appearances in his first season at the League Two club.
Brisley, meanwhile, has made 36 appearances this season, often playing out of position at full-back as well as his usual position of centre-back.
Veiga told the club's
official website: "I'm hoping to have more of an impact on the first team next season.
"I played six games this season and came straight in at a difficult time when I was new to the club and hadn't really got to know the defence in front of me and they didn't know me and how I played."
Silkmen youngsters Adam Roberts and Michael Thomas have also been rewarded with their first professional contracts by the League Two club.
