Parker to be released after disappointing season
Kieran Lee has secured a new one-year contract at Oldham Athletic, but team-mate Keigan Parker has not been offered fresh terms.
Right-back Lee joined the Latics from Manchester United two years ago and he has made 26 appearances this season.
He has been rewarded with a 12-month extension at Boundary Park and is hoping to build on a positive second half to the campaign.
The 21-year-old the club's
official website: "I am delighted to be staying as I really enjoyed my football in the second half of the season.
"Before then I didn't expect to be staying as I was hardly getting a game. Since getting a regular place I think I have done quite well and hopefully I can carry that on into next season."
However, striker Parker is being released after scoring just twice in 29 appearances since his arrival from Huddersfield Town last summer.
