Left-back signs new deal after triggering clause
Gillingham have received a boost for their promotion push with the news that John Nutter has signed a new one-year contract.
The 28-year-old left-back triggered an appearance related clause in his contract last season and has now officially signed his new deal with the League Two outfit.
The defender first joined the Gills in December 2007 from Stevenage and signed on a permanent basis in January 2008.
He has gone on to make more than 100 appearances for the club, including starring for the Gills throughout their promotion-winning campaign from League Two in 2008/9.
