Nurnberg have completed the signing of defender Felicio Brown Forbes on a three-year contract from relegated Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, while Jens Hegeler has also arrived on a two-year loan from Bayer Leverkusen. Germany Under 19 international Brown Forbes is now tied to Nurnberg until the June of 2013 after impressing in Hertha's U19 and U23 teams last season. Nurnberg general manager Dieter Hecking is pleased to have completed the transfer and believes the versatility of Brown Forbes, who has Costa Rican and German parents, will prove a valuable asset. "Felicio is a talented defender, capable of playing at right-back or centre-back," Hecking told his club's official website. "If Nurnberg have an opportunity to sign a Germany U19 international, we are delighted to take that chance. "We are going to give them opportunities in the professional game." Meanwhile, Hegeler, a versatile Germany U21 international who can play in defence or midfield, has agreed to move to the easy-Credit-Stadion on loan in search of first-team football. A two-year loan has been agreed, but Nurnberg will not have the option to buy the 22-year-old as Leverkusen believe that he can fulfil bright potential after spending time on loan at Augsburg last season.
