Putterill and Parkinson to sign once transfer embargo has been lifted

Accrington have agreed deals to sign Ray Putterill and Andy Parkinson once the club's transfer embargo has been lifted. The duo have impressed during trial spells at the club this summer and manager John Coleman has moved to prospectively tie up their services. Putterill won the FA Youth Cup with Liverpool in 2007 but was released by the Merseyside club at the end of the 2007/08 season, while Parkinson left Gateshead last term. The Reds were placed under the embargo this summer for failing to lodge their financial accounts in time.
