Midfielder makes loan move from Napoli

Chievo have snapped up midfielder Mariano Bogliacino on loan from Napoli with a view to a permanent deal. The Uruguayan has spent the past five seasons with Napoli, racking up over 130 appearances. However, he does not figure in the plans of manager Walter Mazzarri for the forthcoming campaign as Napoli look forward to competing in the Europa League. Chievo have therefore made their move for the experienced 30-year-old on a season-long loan deal. "Chievo Verona announces it has acquired Mariano Adrian Bogliacino on a temporary basis with a right of redemption," the club confirmed. "The 20-year-old has played the last five seasons in Naples, collecting a total of 139 appearances and scoring 17 goals."
