Bundesliga club hope goals-per-game ratio is repeated
Hannover have signed Norway international striker Mohamed Abdellaoue on a four-year contract from Valerenga.
The 24-year-old, who has Moroccan roots, has signed for Mirko Slomka's Reds just in time for the start of the Bundesliga season against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday.
Abdellaoue's new club hope that he can show why he managed to score 30 goals in 67 games for Valerenga.
"We have had our eyes on Mohammed for a while now and have been in contact with him for a long time, and that has now paid off," said Hannover's director of sport Jorg Schmadtke.
"His goals-per-game ratio speaks for itself."
Abdellaoue is looking forward to making his Bundesliga debut and is keen to let his actions speak louder than words.
"I am not going to promise goals, I would rather just score them," he said.
