Bundesliga club make Frankfurt striker a target
Eintracht Frankfurt striker Martin Fenin has attracted the interest of rival Bundesliga club Freiburg.
The Czech Republic international, who arrived at Frankfurt two years ago, has become the target of numerous clubs this summer, according to the German outfit.
And Frankfurt executive Heribert Bruchhagen says Freiburg are the club most actively seeking the 23-year-old's signature.
"It is obvious a few clubs are after Martin," Bruchhagen told
Sport-BILD. "Most of all SC Freiburg."
Freiburg general manager Dirk Dufner admitted the club's interest in the forward, adding: "Martin Fenin is a good and interesting striker.
"We are looking for a striker able to play a flexible role, so that we could play him on the wings at times."
Fenin, who joined Frankfurt for £2.8million and is contracted until June 2012, has recently fallen out of favour with manager Michael Skibbe.
The striker, who has netted 13 goals in 65 Bundesliga appearances for the club, is currently struggling with a thigh injury.
