Midfielder arrives at Barcelona club on free transfer
Former Sevilla midfielder Aldo Duscher has joined Primera Liga club Espanyol on a free transfer.
The Argentine had entered the final year of his deal with the Rojiblancos but chose to terminate his contract by mutual consent.
Espanyol have since snapped up the 31-year-old as a replacement for Moises Hurtado, who departed the Cornella-El Prat for Greek club Olympiakos earlier this month.
The capture of Duscher is likely to complete manager Mauricio Pochettino's transfer business for the summer, with the deadline looming on Tuesday evening.
Duscher, who first arrived in Spain ten years ago, began his La Liga career with Deportivo la Coruna, enjoying seven seasons with the club.
The midfielder moved to Racing Santander in 2007 before linking up with Sevilla a year later, where he made 37 league outings.
