On-loan striker facing at least four weeks out of action
St. Pauli on-loan striker Richard Sukuta-Pasu is facing four to six weeks on the sidelines after rupturing ankle ligaments in training.
The Germany Under 21 international sustained the injury in an accidental clash with team-mate Carlos Zambrano on Friday.
Sukuta-Pasu, who is on a season-long loan with Bundesliga newcomers St. Pauli from Bayer Leverkusen, is now expected to be out of action until November.
He told Hamburg Abendblatt newspaper: "I have high hopes for the season and I am going to work as hard as I can to get back to training as soon as possible.
"It was an accidental clash with Carlos Zambrano that caused my injury."
