Frankfurt striker Marcel Heller could ask to leave the Commerzbank Arena in the winter transfer window.
Striker frustrated at lack of opportunities
Frankfurt striker Marcel Heller has demanded more first-team starts or he will ask to leave the club in the winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old is under contract until June 2011 after signing an extension this summer, but he has grown frustrated at the Commerzbank Arena.
Former Germany Under 21 international Heller does not appear to feature in the plans of manager Michael Skibbe and he is considering his future.
Heller told BILD: "I'm always at my best when I am getting played right from the start of a match.
"I do my very best in training, however, I have not been handed an opportunity just yet.
"Should there be no change to my situation in the next few weeks, moving clubs in the January transfer window is extremely likely.
"I have no desire to waste away on the subs bench."
Heller added: "I do not regret signing new terms with Frankfurt this summer. I will, however, need to move on quickly if I am just a fifth wheel over here."
