Everton are being linked with highly-rated Almeria goalkeeper Diego Alves.
Reports in the Spanish press suggest the Toffees are following the 24-year-old Brazilian, who has previously spoken of his desire to secure a switch to a 'big club'.
But the shot-stopper is also being linked to other clubs, including Fiorentina and Villarreal.
Amid the speculation, Almeria's president Alfongo Garcia insists the club would only consider an offer of 14m euros (£11.88m) for the keeper, who has made 15 top-flight appearances this term.
