Congolese striker hoping to land dream move

Dioko Kaluyituka admits it would be a dream come true if he were able to secure a switch to England. The Congo international has shot to prominence after starring for surprise package TP Mazembe at the Club World Cup. The African outfit became the first side from outside of Europe and America to reach the final of that competition. Kaluyituka played a leading role in their fairytale run, which ultimately came to an end when they were seen off 3-0 by Inter Milan. A number of Mazembe players are expected to benefit from the tournament, though, with their reputations enhanced across the world. Talented frontman Kaluyituka is one of the first to be linked with a January move to Europe, with a number of Premier League clubs reported to be keen.

The 23-year-old admits he would relish the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League, having failed to win a deal at French strugglers Arles-Avignon over the summer. "We are very happy with our performance in such a prestigious tournament," he said after picking the Silver Ball at the Club World Cup. "This is the first time that an African team has reached this level. "I am now hearing a lot about teams being interested in me. "I had a trial in France before, but to play in the Premier League would be a dream come true. "I love the football there and hopefully I will get the chance to realise my dream."
