Veteran centre-half plans to play on past the end of the season
Bobo Balde is enjoying his time at Valenciennes and admits he would be willing to pen fresh terms.
The Guinean defender moved to France in October 2009 having left Celtic as a free agent.
He penned a one-year extension over the summer, with that agreement set to take him through to the end of the current campaign.
The 35-year-old has no plans to call time on his career any time soon so he is hoping a new deal will be put to him in the coming months.
Having settled well at Valenciennes he would be keen to remain where he is, but is open to offers from elsewhere should he be forced to move on.
"Valenciennes? It is a lot different to Glasgow," Balde told
L'Equipe.
Fun
"But I am having as much fun here as I had in Scotland. I am doing my job and that makes me happy.
"I don't believe that I have stepped down a level. It was no step backwards coming here."
He added: "I am under contract until June and I want to carry on playing.
"At Valenciennes? Talks have not got that far yet, but I want to go on and we will talk.
"I will either stay here or go somewhere else. I am open to all possibilities."
