Swans midfielder admits he may soon be on the move

Swansea midfielder Cedric van der Gun admits he is uncertain where his long-term future lies. The Dutchman is only contracted to the Swans until the end of the season and is yet to be offered fresh terms. That means he is facing up to the prospect of becoming a free agent in the summer, two years after he moved to South Wales from Utrecht. Having only made six first-team appearances this season, the 31-year-old admits that an exit from the Liberty Stadium is looking increasingly likely.

Talks

"I'll just wait and see what happens," Van der Gun told the South Wales Evening Post. "I haven't been playing a lot of football lately and I've had my talks with the manager as well. "All I can say is that when I play I'll do the best I can - that's the only thing you can do as a player. "It's January and the transfer window is open so we'll heave to see what happens."
