Spanish forward to see out current deal with Turkish giants
Fenerbahce forward Dani Guiza will not be leaving the Turkish outfit during the January transfer window, according to his agent.
The Spain international has been heavily linked with a loan move to former club Getafe in recent weeks, with whom he spent a prolific two seasons between 2005 and 2007.
However, the 30-year-old's agent, Enrique Pina, has moved to quash claims of a return to the Primera Liga, insisting his client will see out his contract with Fenerbahce.
"It is impossible that Fenerbahce would let him leave at the moment and more so on a loan deal," Pina said in Spanish daily sports newspaper
Marca.
"There is nothing to it and Guiza has a year left on his contract with Fenerbahce."
Guiza left Real Mallorca for Fenerbahce in the summer of 2008 after helping Spain win the European Championships.
Despite a prolific record in Turkey's top flight, the former Xerez sriker is thought to be keen on a move back to his homeland to reignite his faltering international career.
