Striker aware Facey's form is keeping him out of the team
Lincoln City's experienced striker Drewe Broughton is hoping to secure a short-term switch once the loan window opens next week.
The 32-year-old has had to make do with a place on the bench in recent weeks due to the impressive performances from captain Delroy Facey.
However, the former Rotherham target man has revealed that, although he is not actively seeking a transfer away from Sincil Bank, a loan move could be on the cards later this month.
"There were a couple of things happening yesterday, but nothing quite came off, so I'll just bide my time for now," Broughton told

Patient
"I'm not knocking on his door and asking for a loan move because there are still a lot of games to go this season and anything can happen during that period, with injuries and suspensions playing their part.
"I'll be patient and wait for something to happen because if someone does come in for me when the loan window opens I'll definitely consider it.
"The gaffer understands that at my age I really need to be playing regularly, so I'm sure that if a club did come in for me this month he would be happy for me to go out for a month and get some games.
"It has been really frustrating for me, but I do get on really well with the gaffer having been at Southend with him when he first became a manager.
"The one position that we have a lot of strength in is that target man role, with myself and Delroy Facey and he has been absolutely fantastic in the last couple of weeks.
"I can't go and knock on the manager's door and say 'why am I not playing?' because Del just can't be dropped due to his outstanding performances.
"It is just a case of sitting on the bench and supporting the lads until I get an opportunity myself, unless something crops up next week onwards."
