Chairman keen to keep Giuly, Sakho and Edel

Paris St Germain chairman Robin Leproux hopes Ludovic Giuly, Mamadou Sakho and Apoula Edel will be staying put.

The trio are regarded as vital to the capital club's plans heading forward, with it important to maintain stability within the camp.

With that in mind, Leproux has revealed that he hopes to discuss new deals with all of those considered to be key assets.

Experienced midfielder Giuly is on that list, with his contract set to expire in the summer.

In regards to Sakho, PSG are keen to keep him out of the clutches of a rival, with Arsenal having been strongly linked with a move in the past.

Finally, reports have suggested that Adel could be on his way out of the club in the summer, with speculation regarding a possible replacement doing the rounds.

Future

Leproux is keen for all three to commit to the club, though, and is planning to open extension talks as soon as possible.

He told France Bleu Ile-de-France: "Giuly's future? The question with these exceptional players is what do they want to do?

"This season he has been quite outstanding. We have been stunned. But, as yet, he has not officially stated his desire to stay on.

"With Sakho, there is a common will to sign an extension. We will meet and I am calm on that subject.

"We are also hoping to talk with Apoula Edel regarding a new deal."
