The 23-year-old, who was a product of Southampton's youth academy, has had professional spells with Darlington and Wycombe.
Jones was a member of Saints' famous youth squad which featured the likes of Theo Walcott, Gareth Bale and Nathan Dyer.
The talented shot-stopper rediscovered his best form in a second spell with Billericay after a falling out over reported interest from non-league giants Crawley Town.
Jones' return has heralded a change in fortune for the club following a string of outstanding displays, form that has helped them reach a county cup final.
The club are also riding high in the top half of the Ryman Premier League table thanks to Jones' contribution, their best league placing in recent memory.
