Veteran keeper not keen to play for another club

FC Twente's long-serving goalkeeper Sander Boschker is hoping to agree a new contract with the Eredivisie champions. The 40-year-old has been playing back-up to Nikolay Mihaylov this season, but he remains keen to prolong his playing career. He has made over 500 appearances for Twente and wants to stay at a club that will be challenging at the top end of the table. "I could go to the Jupiler League or a team at the bottom of the Eredivisie but I would rather stay and hope that I get an occasional game," said Boschker, who is discussing a one-year extension. However, Twente's negotiations regarding a new contract for Dwight Tiendalli have hit an impasse. The full-back wants to stay but his demands have been described as "disproportionate" by chairman Joop Munsterman.
