Skiverton hoping to agree deal for ex-Chesterfield striker
Terry Skiverton believes Yeovil Town would benefit from Martin Gritton's experience if the club can agree a deal for the Chester FC striker.
Gritton joined Chester last month following his release from League Two leaders Chesterfield, but has recently been on trial at Yeovil.
He has impressed enough to warrant talks over a deal at Huish Park and Skiverton is keen to add the former Macclesfield forward to his squad.
"I've got Martin Gritton in today, so I'll be chatting with him at some point today to see if there is a possibility of doing something with him and that will probably be my last piece of business this season," Skiverton told

"I'm a little top heavy with loans at the moment and I'm looking to add a bit of experience if I can, which is where Martin will come in.
"I have got Alex Russell and Paul Wotton, but I'd like to add another experienced head in there because we know that we are in a relegation fight here.
"We need to make sure that we get as far away from that as quickly as possible and you do need players that have been through that kind of experience before because they can bring the younger lads through it.
"It also gives my younger players a leader to follow."
